Following Up!

A few days after your meeting with the prospect, make sure to follow up!

FOLLOWING UP IS THE SECOND MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE SALE!  (Closing is #1)

Reach out to the prospect and keep them engaged.

It will not only help build rapport but put you one step closer to closing your first sale.

Consider the following schedule for following up with your prospect.

1 day after meeting

  • Contact customer via preferred communication method (Email, Phone, etc)
  • Answer any questions or concerns the client might have
  • Attempt to CLOSE customer (if you haven’t already closed the deal)

5 days after meeting

  • Contact customer via preferred communication method (Email, Phone, etc)
  • Answer any questions or concerns the client might have
  • Attempt to CLOSE customer (if you haven’t already closed the deal)

Continue to follow up with the customer until a decision YES/NO has been made.
